Call for Participants

Does your work entail a connection with people who identify as having cognitive impairment or difference?

Researchers from the University of Nottingham and University of Birmingham are conducting a two-year study to unravel the links between cognitive impairment and risk of exploitation in England.

This research has received ethical approval from the University of Nottingham and follows strict protocols to ensure participant privacy and data security.

We are inviting participants to take part in an online survey to gain insights on current policies and practices in safeguarding people with cognitive impairment from exploitation. The survey is confidential and anonymous, taking only 15 to 25 minutes to complete. The deadline for survey responses is 31st August. To take part in the survey, please click on this link: online survey.

We are also looking for people with lived experience and practitioners who would be willing to discuss this issue in a short research interview. To find out more about interviews, contact alison.gardner@nottingham.ac.uk or imogen.lambert@nottingham.ac.uk
